Are ceramic pots frost-proof?
They are made for the Queensland climate, where frost is not a real concern. If you are sending one somewhere that does freeze, use it under cover or bring it in over winter — repeated freeze-thaw cycles are hard on any fired clay, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Do the pots have drainage holes?
Most do, and it is stated in the Specifications table on each product page — check that line before you order. If a pot does not, it is intended as a cachepot or liner, and you plant into a nursery pot inside it.
Why does my pot look slightly different to the photo?
Because it is made by hand and fired. Glaze depth, tone, and surface texture vary between pieces — that variation is the point of a hand-finished pot, not a fault. No two are identical.
How heavy is it, and how will it be delivered?
Weight is listed in the Specifications table. Under 22 kg goes by courier; 22 kg and over travels on a pallet with freight confirmed for your address before dispatch. Large pots are a two-person lift once they are planted.
