At Venice Street Living, we directly import authentic architectural stone, solid Indonesian Suar timber slabs, and heavy-gauge solid cast iron. Because our products range from 60kg up to 2.2+ Tonnes, they require specialized heavy transport. Here is everything you need to know about how shipping works, what we arrange, and what you need to prepare on delivery day.

Tier 1: Heavy Palletised Tailgate Delivery (60kg β 350kg)
Applicable Products: Solid Cast Iron Furniture (60β152kg), 200kg Garden Urns, Handcrafted Suar Wood Dining & Coffee Tables (100β350kg), Stone Inlay Tables, and Handcrafted Basins.
- Transport & Tailgate Included: We arrange the freight carrier. The delivery truck is equipped with a hydraulic tailgate lift and pallet jack to safely lower the timber pallet directly onto your kerbside or hard, level driveway.
- Delivery Notification: The carrier will notify you in advance to confirm your delivery day.
- Moving into Position: Once the pallet is offloaded on your driveway, the customer is responsible for unstrapping and moving the item into their home, veranda, or garden.

Tier 2: Monolithic Stone Transport & On-Site Machine Unloading (1.0 Tonne β 2.2+ Tonnes)
Applicable Products: Solid Monolithic Granite Baths (1,300kg β 1,700kg / 1.3Tβ1.7T) and Natural Granite 8-Seater Table & Stools Suites (~1.8Tβ2.2T).
β οΈ Clear Division of Responsibility for Multi-Tonne Stone:
- What Venice Street Living Organises: We coordinate the heavy flatbed/freight truck to safely transport the crated stone from our Gold Coast warehouse yard directly to your delivery address.
- What the Customer Organises (On-Site Unloading): Because every residential property and commercial site has unique access conditions, gradients, and installation locations, the customer is responsible for organising the on-site crane, hiab truck, or forklift machinery with a qualified operator to lift the stone off the delivery truck and place it into position.
- Window Coordination: Our transport team coordinates with you in advance with an estimated delivery window so your local crane/machine operator can be scheduled on-site to meet the truck.
- Substrate Engineering: Customers must ensure the installation area (ground-level reinforced concrete slab, bedrock, or compacted foundation) is rated to bear structural multi-tonne stone weight.

Option 3: Free Direct Warehouse Yard Collection (Gold Coast)
All customers and trade contractors are welcome to pick up directly from our Mermaid Beach / Gold Coast Warehouse Yard with zero freight fees. For heavy palletised items and stone, we have forklift loading on-site to safely place items into your suitable ute, trailer, or commercial flatbed truck.
