Commercial Policy, Freight & Safety Terms
Comprehensive commercial guidelines governing job-site trade orders, wholesale stockist terms, heavy freight safety, and site unloading conditions.
Tier 1: Commercial Trade
B2B Trade Account
Designed for job-site builders, contractors, and design professionals purchasing on a project basis.
- 🎯 Qualification: Active ABN/ACN held by Licensed Builders, Landscapers, Architects, Interior Designers & Stonemasons. Trade pricing is strictly reserved for GST-registered businesses trading on a commercial basis (ABN trading name and GST registration verified at application). Trade orders carry a minimum order value of $250 ex GST. Personal, hobby, and one-off residential purchases do not qualify for trade terms.
- 🏷️ Account Rate: Account-restricted Trade Discount applied automatically across masonry, glass bricks, and garden pots upon login.
- 📦 Minimum Order Spend: $300 AUD per order (or full carton/box multiples for glass bricks).
- 🚚 Site Delivery: Tailgate freight dispatched directly from Venice Street Living to your active residential or commercial job site.
- 💳 Payment Schedule: Commercial Trade Pricingdeposit upon order confirmation, 100% full cleared payment prior to dispatch.
Tier 2: Wholesale Stockist
B2B Wholesale Stockist
Designed for retail stockists holding physical floor inventory in a commercial showroom.
- 🏬 Showroom Mandatory: Must operate a physical retail shopfront or commercial showroom open to the public, hold a GST-registered ABN, and supply an ABN tax invoice on all wholesale orders. Wholesale orders carry a minimum order value of $1,000 ex GST. (Storage units or home sheds do not qualify).
- 🏷️ Account Rate: Premium Wholesale Discount on bulk crate, container, and pallet lines upon login.
- 📦 Minimum Order Spend: $2,500 AUD opening order ($1,000 AUD re-order minimum or full crate/pallet lots).
- 🚚 Showroom Delivery Only: Dispatched in bulk from Venice Street Living's facility exclusively to your registered showroom or yard. (We do not offer individual dropshipping to your retail customers).
- 💳 Payment Schedule: Commercial Trade Pricingdeposit upon order confirmation, 100% full cleared payment prior to warehouse release.

1. Delivery Location & Tailgate Drop
Heavy palletized orders (glass bricks, stone cladding, pots, Suar timber slabs) are delivered via commercial trucks equipped with hydraulic tailgate lift ramps and pallet jacks. Delivery is strictly made to ground level at curbside, driveway, or the closest lockable gate/door accessible via flat, hard-standing ground. Drivers cannot transport heavy crates upstairs, across unpaved lawns, or inside private residences due to WHS regulations.

2. Site Access & WHS Clearance
Receivers must ensure the delivery location has clear, level, hard-standing ground free of mud, steep slopes, low overhead electrical wires, or tree hazards capable of restricting heavy 10t–14t transport vehicles. If special unloading equipment (e.g. crane truck drop or site forklift) is required, this must be declared at the time of order booking.

3. Unattended Sites & Re-Delivery Fees
An authorized site representative must be present to inspect and sign for heavy freight during the confirmed delivery window. If a site is unattended, inaccessible, or deemed unsafe by the freight driver, the shipment will return to the regional depot. All subsequent re-delivery charges incurred by the freight carrier will be billed directly to the customer account.

4. Transit Inspection & 48-Hour Damage Claim
Prior to signing consignment paperwork, receivers must visually inspect timber crates, strapping, and pallet shrink-wrap. Any visible transit damage or missing items must be noted directly on the driver's consignment docket (POD) and reported in writing with high-resolution photos to info@venicestreetliving.com.au within 48 hours of receipt.
General Commercial Terms
🔒 Rate Confidentiality
Trade and wholesale rate cards are strictly confidential. Reselling or advertising items online below MSRP without written consent is prohibited.
✅ Account Verification & Approval
All trade and wholesale applications are reviewed and approved by Venice Street Living. Approval requires a valid GST-registered ABN/ACN and a genuine commercial business purpose. Approved trade terms do not apply to personal, hobby, or one-off purchases.
💰 Minimum Order Values
Trade orders require a minimum order value of $250 ex GST. Wholesale stockist orders require a minimum order value of $1,000 ex GST. Minimums are reviewed per application and apply to every order submitted on trade or wholesale terms.

💳 Order Processing & Production
Commercial Trade Pricingorder deposit reserves stock in our warehouse. Balance must be cleared in full prior to freight booking and dispatch.
