Introducing The Ruse, a unique terrazzo basin crafted by FLEUR STUDIOS from repurposed marbles and stones sourced globally. This basin embraces a contemporary aesthetic, with stones blended into a sophisticated cementitious mix and hand polished to reveal a stunning terrazzo finish. The term "terrazzo" dates back to the 1800s, when Italians recycled marble offcuts from houses, mixing them with binders and cement to create the terrace 'terrazzo'.
Our specific cement blend ensures the basins are internally sealed and densified, making them naturally water-resistant, unlike standard concrete. An annual application of an impregnating sealer can maintain this water resistance beautifully. Designed to accommodate a 32mm standard pop-up waste or a universal pop-up waste, these basins are part of a limited edition collection, so once they're sold out, they won't be restocked.
