Which charcoal should I use?
Gidgee is the premium choice — dense Australian hardwood, burns hot and long, and gives a clean flavour. Mangrove is the versatile all-rounder and lights faster. Both are lump charcoal, not briquettes; briquettes burn cooler and ash more.
What else do I need to get cooking?
Charcoal, a lighter or fire starters, and a thermometer if the unit does not include one. A rotisserie kit and cover are the two accessories most people add later.

How heavy is it, and will it arrive assembled?
Weight is in the Specifications table on this page, and it decides how it ships: under 22 kg by courier, over that on a pallet with freight confirmed for your address before dispatch.
