Which charcoal should I use?
Gidgee is the premium choice — dense Australian hardwood, burns hot and long, and gives a clean flavour. Mangrove is the versatile all-rounder and lights faster. Both are lump charcoal, not briquettes; briquettes burn cooler and ash more.
What else do I need to get cooking?
Charcoal, a lighter or fire starters, and a thermometer if the unit does not include one. A rotisserie kit and cover are the two accessories most people add later.

How heavy is it, and will it arrive assembled?
